On August 1 of 2019, shipbuilders of the Amur Shipbuilding Plant launched and transferred to the outfitting embankment the first cargo-passenger automobile-railway ferry of project CNF11CPD 00300 for the Vanino-Kholmsk line. Representatives of the leadership of the Khabarovsk Territory and the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur, as well as representatives of the USC and the customer took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to this event.
The ship is being designed and constructed on the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping class: КМ Arc 5 AUT1-ICS OMBO ANTIÍCE ECO Ro-ro passenser ship. Fluidmecanica has supplied the steering system, it is composed of two (2) sets.
Main characteristics of steering gear:
-Type: electrohydraulic, four-cylinder, with main and reserve steering drives in accordance with RMRS requirements
-Nominal torque: 324 kNm (maximum torque 293 kNm)
Mechanisms of steering gear are mounted on a single foundation frame. The frame is provided with mechanical limiters limiting the rotation of the rudder stock to 36.5º each side.
