On 17th May, the ship (BGK) “Georgiy Zima”, the first of the new generation hydrographic ships, came down from the Nizhegorodsky Motorship Shipyard in Bor.

The launch of the ship “Georgiy Zima” was a very waited event. The ship was built by order of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and designed to survey the relief of the bottom and observe the dangers of navigation in the depths of the sea up to 400 meters. And today BGK “Georgiy Zima” is the most modern ship among all navigation control boats of oceanography.
