The oceanographic research vessel Francisco de Paula Navarro has been delivered to Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO) after overcoming successfully the trial period.

Fluidmecanica has designed oceanographic winches and A-frame adapted to the characteristics and dimensions of the vessel, which has led to a considerable improvement of its scientific capacity. Hydraulic winch with double drum for 4000 m (Ø6 mm) of stainless steel cable and another 4000 m (Ø8 mm) of coaxial cable, over a rotating platform that allows operations from starboard and aft.
